Alta Florencia - Yasuní

Alta Florencia is one of the Kichwa culture communities located on the banks of the Napo River, near Yasuní, belonging to the province of Orellana, Aguarico Canton, Nuevo Rocafuerte Parish. Its inhabitants, comprising both women and men, total 94 people. The society of Alta Florencia keeps alive the customs and traditions passed down by their ancestors, which are used to showcase community-based tourism.
